We still need lots more help for Ocean Week!  Check out the many volunteer opportunities by clicking here.  There are lots of jobs–including photography for grade level activities and special events, decorating the school next week, and helping to provide food for the staff luncheon on February 8.  Also note that on Friday, February 10, we will be holding our first Ocean Festival in the Community Center Gym!  All K-5 students will rotate through during the day–exploring exciting ocean-related stations led by middle school science students.  Parent help is greatly needed in moving younger students to the various stations, and in assisting middle school students when needed.

Those bowls were meant to represent those less fortunate who often go without a good meal. With more than 462,000 people in San Diego living under the poverty line, and many going hungry every night. This event is open to everyone so we hope you can join us. Several wonderful local businesses are kindly donating food and it is sure to be a great evening for a great cause!

There are 100 tickets available for this event. Tickets can be purchased by check (made out to RSF SBF) or cash can be brought to me in the art room, 405.  Hope you can join this inspiring event! For more information, please contact Dana Dabney at [email protected] or 858-756-1141 ext. 405.
